During your tenure as a Senior Associate in our Turnaround and Restructuring Services, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

  • Assistance with corporate insolvencies (mainly in KSA and UAE jurisdictions), including involvement in specific tasks such as monitoring financial performance and estimated outcomes and supplier negotiations
  • Assisting with drafting letters and regulatory reports and presentations (in both English and Arabic) to external stakeholders such as courts, debtors, creditors, financial institutions and regulators
  • Understands how assigned areas of responsibility contribute to engagement objectives and desired outcomes
  • Reviewing, reconciling and adjudicating creditor claims
  • Preparing documentation to facilitate payment of procedural expenses
  • Identifying potential assets, liabilities and issues that may impact client outcomes
  • Handling client employee redundancies and communication
  • Regularly coordination and communication with and reporting to senior members of the team, the client, creditors and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in speaking and writing in both English and Arabic.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or any related field
  • 3-4 years of experience in financial advisory, public auditing, or accounting, preferably with Big Audit Firms.
  • International accounting qualification is desired: CA, ACCA, or CPA.
  • Knowledge of best practice reporting and International Financial Valuation and Modeling.  Experience in transaction support, valuation, due diligence, financial re-structuring, feasibility studies/projections, IPO's.
  • Advanced level of technical proficiency and computer literacy particularly with spreadsheets (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Supervise staff, inspect client financial records, compile and analyze data, prepare detailed audit reports and resolve accounting research issues.
