During your tenure as a Consultant in Financial Risk and Regulatory Advisory, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:  

  

  • Brand Building:  

  • To proactively contribute towards strengthening Deloitte’s brand.  

  • To proactively seek opportunities and identify areas of enhancement to add value to our clients.  

 

  • Business Development:  

  • Working on practice initiatives and collaborating with teams to develop technical proposals.   

 

  • People and Practice Management:  

  • To participate with other team members on multiple people and practice initiatives.  

 

  • Responsibilities:  

  • Understand Deloitte’s core values. 

  • Adherence to code of conduct and other Deloitte policies.  

  • Daily communications with senior team members and peers  

  • Work under pressure, on multiple tasks.  

  • Addressing requirements and tasks raised by senior team members.  

  • Understanding and Adherence to Quality and Risk Management requirements  

  • Working closely with the clients and other team members on Financial Risk Management advisory services around areas related to Credit Risk Management, Credit Process and Operations.  

  • Delivering solutions and services in collaboration with other team members, which might include policy and procedure development, gap analysis and process enhancement reports, drafting training materials and other project related deliverables.  

  • Building strong relationships with team members and peers within Deloitte, and externally with our clients.  

  • Addressing requirements and tasks raised by senior team members.    

  • Work with teams to support key banking and financial institution clients (which might cover areas around Credit Risk and Credit Process and Operations, ERM).  

  • Strong commitment to develop soft skills such as communication and business writing skills, along with other professional skills.  

  • Collaborate with large teams in delivering projects and drafting proposals to private sector/ governmental entities.  

  • Participate in daily discussions internally, or externally with clients on different aspects, under the guidance of senior team members.  

  • Seek continuous improvement and enhance learning capabilities, along with focusing on self-improvement, through professional certificates, or higher education studies.

Qualifications:  

 

  • Bachelors/ Masters in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Economics from a reputable university.  

  • At least 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in banking, and one year of Big Four or professional services industry experience will be preferred.   

  • Proficiency in English is a must 

  • Bilingual candidates having fluency in Arabic will be preferred.  

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).  

  • Strong understanding of Credit, Risk Management, Credit processes, ERM.  

  • Good understanding of regulations and guidelines issued by regulatory bodies within GCC.
